The Registered Digital Institute is happy to announce that their new consumer website, getmedigital.com is due for launch this September. The new getmedigital.com website has been developed as a friendly way of promoting digital installers, professionals and service organisations
direct to the UK consumer market.

The new site boasts a combination of easy to navigate pages that is accessible to all age groups and levels of understanding. It has been developed as a means for consumers and businesses to access information, solve digital connection issues and when needed find a local specialist to call in and remedy more complex connectivity problems.

The all new website builds upon the highly successful scheme developed for the digital switchover
programme and expands into the obvious, but missing, web content covering such things as smartTV, IPTV and other new technology areas.

As all businesses listed on the site are drawn from the Registered Digital Institute, consumers who
require assistance are assured that listed members are competent, qualified, security checked and
operate to an industry leading code of conduct.

For a monthly fee, additional to the cost of Institute membership, RDI members will be able to
choose to upgrade their basic listing to either a bronze, silver or gold advertising package (platinum
is set to launch post September). The different tiers of packages will be constantly reviewed and
updated to ensure our membership base is receiving the best possible exposure. Once they are
listed on the site potential customers will be able to search for a specialist in their area by postcode,
services provided, location or specific RDI ID numbers.

Registered Digital Institutes CEO, Martin Smith commented:

“The Institutes members will have exclusive access to an industry leading web site aimed at promoting their businesses directly to consumers who need their skills. By offering a variety of packages to members the getmedigital.com website provides Institute members a highly effective and affordable way of raising their profile in front of both local and nationwide customers”.

He added:

“The Institutes team are excited by getmedigital.com developments and will separately continue to champion standards within the digital industry, working closely with members, government offices and skills development partners.”
