WHAT is the RDI-LB?
We are the Registered Digital
Installer - Licensing Body or RDI-LB for short!
The RDI-LB scheme has been set up and is managed by installation experts
and training specialists. Our organisation is licensed by the Government
(BERR) to administer the up-skilling, registration and promotion of a
professional digital installer workforce for the public.
How we operate
We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Our focus is upon identifying the UK's best installation engineers and registering them with our scheme. To become licensed, installers must achieve our minimum qualification requirments and provide us with updated details every year.
Activities
The RDI-LB is responsible for maintaining a register of licensees and promoting them to public or commercial interests. In addition we help installers with access to training and through the licensing process into the scheme. We also manage policing of the scheme against abuse by rogue traders.
